Magic Hour is an ode to friendship, community, and the simple pleasures of nature. Inspired by Austin’s Barton Springs, it depicts four young women, the artist’s friends, walking toward the water, their presence both joyful and grounding. Washed in luminous blues and greens, the painting evokes the vibrant, refreshing hues of the springs at the time of day when light softens and the city feels suspended.
